Termites Be Damned: The Wooden NES

Friday, July 23rd, 2010 by

It is as it appears: An NES sculpture made almost entirely of wood. Somewhere, at this very moment, there’s a shop class teacher that’s dropping a deuce in envy.

Sadly, this eBay listing did not sell for the minimum asking price of $250.00. Perhaps it had something to do with the controller replica, which is a slightly less accurate recreation than the console itself.

Despite that, you still gotta appreciate the craftsmanship at work here. It gives me great hope that my dream of seeing a Virtual Boy made of butter might someday come true.

This is awesome, but I bet the creator could have gotten $250 for a wooden R.O.B.

I think that a Virtual Boy mad of butter would be more useful than an actual Virtual Boy. At least the butter version would be tasty.

I’ve still not had the opportunity to stick my face in a Virtual Boy yet. That… sounded bad, didn’t it?

      • Markham Asylum

Not as bad as if the word “Virtual” had been absent.
