According to the StarCraft II forums on Battle.net, if you’re not rolling with the best hardware available, you might as well use your computer for barbecuing. It seems that having the graphics set too low causes the game to redraw the screen so fast that it can overheat your system.
So open up that case and point a box fan right at it, because I know you’re not going to stop playing SCII and wait for the inevitable patch to be released.
Reason #42 to stick with console gaming…
