Valkyria Chronicles II Coming Soon to PSP

The sequel to 2008′s sleeper hit Valkyria Chronicles is soon to arrive in North America, this time on the PSP.

According to Playstation.Blog, you can expect Valkyria Chronicles II sometime “later this summer” and it will bring the same mix of elements that made the first game so compelling, plus some new stuff including a re-tweaked class system and multiplayer..

Sounds groovy. VCI is on my short list of PS3 games that I want to play eventually. Perhaps I’ll end up playing VCII on the PSP. If I can eventually download it for $15 or less, that is… I’m done with the annoyingly-loud UMD drive.

  The first game is great, really challenging at times but such a fantastic game. I’m a bit disappointed they chose the PSP over the consoles, but it’s nice to see the series continuing.
  
  If the reviews roll in and say it’s as good as the first, go ahead and download this at full price. It’ll be worth it.

    It would be worth it at full price if I were a collector like yourself, but I tend to get games used and sell them for a loss of $5-$10. It really helps cut down on the game budget.
