Dubbed “The hardest game in the world”, QWOP is a game worth revisiting if only for the masochist laughs. It’s important to remember while playing that “everyone is a winner”. Let this be your mantra when you feel the need to rage quit.
The game describes itself as follows:
“You are Qwop, our small nation’s sole representative at the Olympic Games.
Use the QWOP keys to move your legs.
Ideally you will run 100 metres…
… but our training program was under-funded.
Remember, it’s not about whether you win or lose.”
By all means, feel free to play QWOP and experience the torment yourself*.
It may feel impossible, and regardless of your technique, there’s sure to be no shortage of hilarious missteps. But it can be done! Here’s a video of someone winning the game of QWOP, something few are ever likely to do.
