Our lovable hero of Indie game development, Markus “Notch” Perrson made a “3D” game in less than 48 hours, which is remenisent of good ol’ Wolfenstein 3D. The purpose of the game was for an entry into a game-development contest called the “Ludum Dare” and is free to play.![]()
Says Notch: “It’s an action based dungeon crawler with six levels, four boss fights, and plenty of secrets and loot. It takes about 20-30 minutes to beat the game, and if you die, you need to start over from the beginning.”
Your humble DeltaAttack author played this game and found it thoroughly entertaining and engaging, with the only detractors being that 1)the game had a gun and 2) it froze unexpectedly as I was about to descend a ladder (screen shot above). Therefore, I never got to use my damn keys (but I did get 10 Trophies!).

| I’m the gamer your mother warned you about:
I was introduced to video games on the Atari 2600, and quickly moved to a Nintendo, where The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, and Dragon Warrior dominated my early non-Mario years. Now days, I do mostly PC gaming, and some console gaming. I’ve been in and out of rehab, and there’s no saving a nerd like me. NerdLife4Ever. ikecube has written 96 posts on Delta Attack. |
