Microsoft to bring Xbox Live to Windows 8 PCs.

Wednesday, September 14th, 2011 by

Further validating the original “The Xbox is just a PC” argument, Microsoft has announced that they are bringing Xbox Live to PC gamers with Windows 8. This seems like a strange move, considering I can’t be the only person who bought the Xbox 360 primarily for Xbox Live Arcade.

Now if they bring it to smartphones, I will never need to buy another Xbox console again! Wait, they already did that?

Hello, Craigslist! No, no… no sex… yet.

Find the announcement and a link to the keynote on Major Nelson’s blog.

Huh. Seeing as how I have a wired 360 controller for my computer, and may eventually have Windows 8+, cool, but yeah… that is pretty weird.
