Regardless of all the crap I’ve given Com2uS over the past year, I do enjoy their work most of the time. It’s nice to see a Korean developer stay independent AND make a name for themselves. It’s just a shame that name is notorious for in-app purchase abuse, but I digress.
Right now, you can pick up HOMERUN BATTLE 3D (and 9 Innings 2011) for free. HOMERUN BATTLE 3D is a very good game that made Apple’s Hall of Fame for good reason. While its in-app purchases do screw up the multiplayer playing field, it’s not an awful, arm-twisting system like the one found in HOMERUN BATTLE 2.
Also, remember, owning HOMERUN BATTLE 3D unlocks a costume in HOMERUN BATTLE 2. So, if you own the latter and not the former, you may as well download the original just to unlock the “HB Stars” costume.
