The Mega Man and Mega Man X series are known for their pumpin’ tunes. The theme for Wheel Gator’s stage from Mega Man X2 isn’t the most amazing in the series, but it does set the mood for rushing to the maverick reploid as quickly as possible, since the longer you take, the more advanced his AI becomes.
The remix “Spin Gator” from the OverClocked ReMix album “Mega Man X: Maverick Rising” manages to be fast-paced and mellow at the same time. It’s sort of house, and sort of trance. It’s all groove.
