Way before Diablo got an anorexic physique and began his reign of terrOR in Diablo III, he haunted an old monastery. That monastery was bosom buddies with Tristram, an unassuming hovel with dirty peasants and a peg-legged young rascal named Wirt. Tristram wasn’t much to look at, but it was your safe harbor between trips to the demon-infested underbelly of the monastery.
Amongst all the music in the trilogy of Diablo games, the theme for Tristram is by far the best. Wherever you fall on the spectrum of “never heard it” to “it comes up in my playlist all the time”, stay awhile and listen:
