Poll time: Who did you go on a date with at the Golden Saucer? Did you pick the goody two-shoes Aerith, the one they implicitly make you feel that you should pick, or were you nicer to Tifa because of her “martial arts” and thus ended up with her? My dialog decisions led to a date with Tifa, but it was actually mostly due to the fact that I found Aerith’s personality grating. If your choices unintentionally led to a magical fireworks show with Barret instead of one of the leading ladies, well hey, to each their own.
