With Dead Space 3 coming very soon, it only makes sense that there should be a statue of series protagonist Isaac Clarke stomping on some necromorph slag and looking totally badass at 1/6 scale.

The 12 1/2 inch tall Kotobukiya statue features stunning detail against an arctic backdrop and will be available in June 2013, retailing for $139.99.

Dead Space 3 will feature a “drop in, drop out” co-op campaign and is due for release on Feb. 5, 2013. Or this Tuesday, if you prefer.

I can’t see a dude in a video game wearing a fur-rimmed collar without thinking of Squall. Ugh… Final Fantasy 8 was so mediocre.

That aside, I am looking forward to Dead Space 3, as the first two are really excellent. I have no desire to play it co-op, though, as survival horror is best by yourself. I’m glad that they decided not to shove the co-op character down your throat like they did in Resident Evil 6, and opted instead for having him only show up here and there if you’re doing single-player.

FF8 had its moments, but linking stats to spell stock made the game a little goofy.

I’m sure Dead Space 3 will be plenty good; I’ll be surprised if they fucked it up with the co-op. And despite all the down talk, I still want to try Resident Evil 6 out and see for myself.

Derp, I meant Resident Evil 5, after which I have no desire to play 6 (especially not with the scores it got). I’ll just stick with 4.
