Starting today, for the next thirty days or so, you’ll have the opportunity to own one of the greatest games ever made for less than the cost of a cup of coffee. Pick up Super Metroid from the Wii U Virtual Console now, for the very humble asking price of $.30, before the offer ends and it gets jacked up to it’s normal $7.99.

Nintendo, why are there no SNES games on the DSi/3DS VC? You are so dumb. You are really dumb, for real. You can run and tell that, homeboy.

Because there’s a Wii/Wii U for that! I mean, it goes both ways. Not that anyone wants to play GameBoy titles on their Wii U or anything, but still.

The Wii U GamePad seems like it’d be perfect for some Gameboy titles.

It actually would be a stellar fit, if you can overlook the tiny issue of being tethered to the system by a twenty foot leash.

Honestly, depending upon the onboard memory, I wouldn’t be surprised if it could be programmed to work independently.

Nintendo is able to update the Gamepad’s firmware, as hackers confirmed a few days back. I’m sure they could get it working if they wanted to, but they don’t.
