The Uncharted Trilogy Edited Into Full Length Movies

April 22nd, 2012 by

The Uncharted trilogy, lauded for being one of the most cinematic franchises in the history of gaming, has just been made even more cinematic by some clever and inspired editing. Redditor and YouTube user morphinapg has taken the cutscenes from each game and blended them with key action sequences to deliver their stories in movie form. It’s a great idea, and really fun to watch.

All three movies after the jump.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 Coming To 3DS

April 21st, 2012 by

The new Mario game previously teased for the 3DS has been now revealed to be New Super Mario Bros. 2, the sequel to the original hit for the DS and Wii. It’s due in August (well, for Japan), and little has been shown from the game save for a handful of screens.

Most notable among these is the one above, which shows an airborne Mario with a raccoon tail protruding from his bum. Also worth noting is the “P” gauge at the bottom of the screen, which suggests that the mechanics of raccoon tail flight introduced in Super Mario Bros. 3 will be making a triumphant return.

Samus Aran Made Entirely Of Paper And Glue

April 20th, 2012 by

Standing 6’10″ tall and created in the style of Metroid Prime 2, this Samus Aran statue was made strictly with paper, glue, and steely dedication. This is the work of Flickr user IAmTheOneGuy and you can see more of this fantastic creation and others here.

Street Fighter X Tekken Stumbles But Stands Strong

April 19th, 2012 by

Capcom and Namco’s flagship fighters cross over in the hybrid Street Fighter X Tekken, blending characters from both series into a wholly new fighting game boasting a massively revamped Street Fighter 4 engine. Looking past the game’s now infamous on-disc DLC debacle and goofy online issues, Street Fighter X Tekken is incredibly deep and even now, over a month after picking it up, still feels like I’ve only begun to scratch the surface.

Draw Something Update Adds Comment Feature Among Other Things

April 18th, 2012 by

Go get it now! Today’s update to Draw Something lets you leave comments on drawings, and does other nifty stuff like lifting the 99 turn streak cap, too. If you’re a clumsy bastard such as myself, then you might appreciate the new undo feature, which lets you zap the last line like it never happened.

Other features included in the update:
* Post your drawings to Facebook & Twitter
* Save your drawings to your photos
* Update immediately by pulling down to refresh
* Notifications on Android
* Various bug fixes

Not that it wasn’t already addictive as hell to begin with, but these new features can only serve to heighten the experience. Hit me up if you feel like it, my username is Annexation.

Disturbingly Heartfelt Shinra Corporation A Capella Cover

They’re so into it that they don’t even care about a little spittle. Brace yourself for an awkwardly awesome nostalgia kick.

Pinkie Pie Is The Harbinger Of Slaughter In Skyrim

April 15th, 2012 by

Bronies and Skyrim lovers alike, here here, enjoy this video of Pinkie Pie straight fucking shit up in the wilds of Skyrim. Adorably twisted and cutely sickening, this is perhaps the greatest juxtaposition in the history of juxtaposing. These Skyrim mods never grow old, I tells ya.
