Listen up, nerds. Penny Arcade isn’t the first place I’ve seen people take a stab at the PlayStation Vita for releasing the games a week prior to the system. I’m old enough to remember a time when another portable system had games out a week in advance of the actual system launch. You may have heard of it.

A little late to this, but I figure it’s worth noting if you don’t check the App Store everyday. Jetpack Joyride has received a bugfix update. As you may recall, it had some GameCenter (and/or OpenFeint) issues where users were losing coins and levels. It wouldn’t have mattered so much if Jetpack Joyride wasn’t the best iOS game of 2011. Yesterday, I posted about the update for Paladog! What I wasn’t aware of was that the update I’ve been eagerly anticipating ever since receiving a newsletter update on November 20th was the same one I had downloaded a day or two prior to receiving said e-mail and had yet to boot. Thanks, FazeCat. Next time, maybe you could yell, “Marcia, duck!” after you’ve already hit me in the nose with a football. Paladog! version 3.0 is live. It has been for over a week, now.
