Final Fantasy VII re-created in Little Big Planet 2

Got a few hours spare? Want to bone up on some of the events of Final Fantasy VII, but don’t want to be troubled with actually playing Final Fantasy VII? Just love yourself some Sockboy?

Then you are going to want to check out these videos by TheJamster1992 (real name: Jamie Colliver). Using Little Big Planet 2′s level creator, Jamie created 20 levels based around Final Fantasy VII.

The first video (of six) features the introduction and Sector 7.

The second video shows off Sector 5 and Aeris’ Church.

Love letters to games like this really get my heart all aflutter. Make sure to check out (or at least peruse) the other four videos via TheJamster1992′s channel.

Square Enix announced FFVII remake… kinda.

Ask and you shall receive… an update to a shoddy PC port.

Square Enix is re-releasing Final Fantasy VII for PC gamers with a number of updates that, really, I don’t think anyone who played the game will care about.

Achievements? Oh, finally I have a reason to run 500 Chocobo Races and flaunt how I beat the Emerald and Ruby Weapons.

Character Booster? Oh, you mean cheats? Awesome, because I love losing that feeling of accomplishment.

Cloud saves? Unless you’re talking about Aeris, then I don’t really care.
