Review: The Flying Hamster (PSP)

March 7th, 2011 by

The Flying Hamster is a highly stylized, fun little side-scrolling shooter that never takes itself very seriously. Sometimes that’s a bad trait for a game to have, but in this case the goofiness works out beautifully. As far as PSP minis go, The Flying Hamster looks sharp and plays great.

Review: BreakQuest

BreakQuest is a Breakout clone that looks, for lack of a more appropriate description, downright nasty. But let’s not judge BreakQuest by its early 90s PC-style visuals, for that would be unfair. Review: Vempire

September 4th, 2010 by

As far as gem-swapping puzzle games go, Vempire certainly looks the part. It even plays as one might expect, mixing it up here and there with some RPG style frills. To say that it leaves a lasting impact though would be a bald-faced lie. Vempire is simply okay.
