Conan plays Just Dance 4 with Gold Medalist Alex Morgan

September 27th, 2012 by

It’s time for another installment of Clueless Gamer presented by Team Coco.

Last time, Conan O’Brien played an early copy of Resident Evil 6. Now, Conan plays a more approachable title in Just Dance 4 with Team USA Soccer’s Alex Morgan.

I thought “Never Gonna Give You Up” was the song I was going to dance to the most, but seeing Conan and Alex Morgan jump around to “The Final Countdown” made my day.

Lunar: Silver Star Story Touch is coming very soon

September 20th, 2012 by

Delta Attack has gotten our hands on a preview of the Lunar: Silver Star Story Touch. Let me start by telling anyone who loved the game that it turned out great. If you were lucky enough to play SoMoGa’s port of Vay, you’ll know that the game was in good hands. If you didn’t play Vay, go download it for free in the App Store this very second.

For people unfamiliar with the series, Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete was one of the top roleplaying games on the Sony Playstation, a system known for great RPGs. While lighthearted for a majority of the game, it has the benefit of a particularly strong ending. Out of all the games I played on PSX, Lunar: SSSC sticks out as my personal favorite.

Lunar: Silver Star Story Touch is based upon the Sega Saturn/Sony Playstation re-make.

The names and icons are crisp for retina displays.

Dead Space 3 hype machine set in motion, can anyone hear it scream?

July 16th, 2012 by

Electronic Arts deep space scarefest isn’t due out until early 2013, but it’s never too early to hype things up. The pay off is always worth it. Am I right, Duke Nukem fans?

I know this won’t be a train wreck like Duke Nukem was. It’s just, man, twenty minutes of footage for a game that’s eight months away seems a bit much, doesn’t it?

New 3DS Castlevania screens shown at Comic-Con

July 16th, 2012 by

If pictures truly are worth a thousand words, then get ready to look at five thousand words that Konami showed off at the San Diego Comic-Con this year.

Castlevania – Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate boasts four playable characters, three of which have already been revealed. Simon Belmont, Trevor Belmont, and Alucard are cool and all, but who here thinks the game needs more Sonia Belmont?

Tiny Wings 2.0 is coming July 12th to iOS

July 6th, 2012 by

I have no idea what that teaser is teasing. Is it an update to Tiny Wings? Is it an entirely new sequel? All I know is that I have money ready just in case, because it’s coming July 12th.

Landing in a nest next to an egg? Are we finally going to get a mode other than Endless?

We’re rather fond of Tiny Wings around these parts. It’s hard to put your finger on just what makes it so great, but you can simply feel it in everything it does. I even threw the Tiny Wings Theme MP3 on my iPhone.

Check out Rise to Fame, an RPG where you’re a rock band.

June 12th, 2012 by

I’ll be honest. I have no idea if this will be any good or not, but I love me some quirky RPGs. Rise to Fame definitely fits the part. In Rise to Fame, you run a four-member rock band like your standard RPG. The goal appears to be getting famous rather than saving the world. The concept seems so simple that I’m shocked it hasn’t been done before.

Here’s a “Pop-Up Video”-inspired promo that, really, tells us next to nothing about the game.

Warren Spector on Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two

May 16th, 2012 by

Just a quick update, as I may be the only person looking forward to the Mickey Mouse and Ephraim the Retarded Rabbit Oswald the Lucky Rabbit team-up. I enjoyed Epic Mickey on Wii, but there was no denying the shoddy camera ruined an otherwise great experience.

This video provides a look at the game in motion with Warren Spector.

It’s great to see Bosko and Honey Oswald and Ortensia together again.

I may spend a little too much time on Cartoon Brew.
